Rush Limbaugh’s Operation Chaos Backfires on the Republican Party, Thanks Rush!

RNC Chairman Michael Steel was a guess on CNN’S, D.L Hughley News hour Saturday 2-28-09.  Mr. Steel described Rush Limbaugh as an entertainer who who says ugly things.   The RNC Chairman said  he alone was the head of the Republican Party. 

That sounds strange to me considering Mr. Steel is an African-American heading a party perceived as a party of  rich white men who care only for other rich white men.  That however is fodder for a future article.  Now Mr. Steel is being urged to “Get to Work”. and shut his trap.

Obviously, Mr. Limbaugh was not happy with Mr. Steel’s commentary.  The following Monday March 2, 2009.   Mr. Limbaugh came out firing with both barrels.  Mr Limbaugh referred to Mr. Steel as an aspiring but unsuccessful media “Talking Head”.   Which is Rush Limbaugh’s domain. 

Limbaugh advised Mr. Steel to get to work at the RNC to come up with strategies to counter Democrats from voting in open Republican Primaries and chooing Republican Candidates.  Limbaugh said if he does not, Democrats will be choosing Republican Candidates.   

Did Rush reveal his fear in that statement?  Mr steel he said should concentrate on preventing Democrats from doing the exact same thing that Rush Limbaugh ordered his minions to do to Candidate Barack Obama during the primaries.  During Rush’s Operation Chaos, Limbaugh urged his republican and conservative listeners to vote for Hillary Clinton in the open democratic primaries to defeat Barack Obama.  Now Mr. Limbaugh has reveal his greatest fear.  That Karma, or his chickens will come home to roost on his very own lofty perch.

Democrats this is our opportunity.   Rush Limbaugh gave us a gift through his tongue lashing of Mr. Steel.  The gift is that we now have the power to vote in open Republican Primaries and we should give Rush Limbaugh and company a healthy dose of their own medicine. 

Fellow Democrats if we work together like we did to elect President Obama.  We can also choose the kinds of Republicans Candidates that will have a chance to get into office by our own chaos. i.e. vote in Open Republican Primaries.  Whats good for the goose is good for the gander. Therefore, Democrats, I am giving you the same advice Rush Limbaugh gave to Michael Steel, and that is to get to work.

Imitation, The Purest Form Of Flattery

I have noticed a few articles I have written in the past have been umm…what’s the word lifted? by other bloggers.  I see my articles on the web under different by lines.  At first it disturbed me because I feel the lazy bums who claim credit for my “Interesting Articles” Should write their own original articles as I and most other blogger do.   

I decided to view the situation as if I was being complimented from those who claim my writings as their own.  As is often said:  “Imitation is the Purest Form of Flattery“ 

To my admirers who usurp my articles and who re-post them as their own. Thank you for helping me to spread my message to your audiences too.

I am getting my message out which is my goal.  I thank  those individuals who use  my articles.  Although I would never give anyone permission to use my work without giving me my dues but as long as they do not add or remove any parts of it  then I am just achieving my goal of  sharing the maarti message, even if  they  take all the credit for it!

BARACK OBAMA’S IMPACT ON THE MASSES

I talked to around fifty (50) people today in Virginia as a campaign volunteer for the Obama for America Campaign.  A few people told me they and their families  would be voting for Barack Obama in Tuesday’s Democratic Primary.

A number of the fifty were undecided.   And a few I talked to said they were voting for John McCain.

After I told one lady that I was calling her on behalf of the Obama campaign and asked her who was she planning on supporting.  She said, ”It Won’t be him” and “Why do These Representatives call and bug you at Home all the Times of the Night”.  It was early afternoon when I called her.  I thanked the lady for  her time and said good bye. 

She pleasantly said good bye to me.  I gave the polling locations to a few voters who weren’t sure of their polling locations.

I talked to both the young and to seniors.  I spoke to people of various races, and I would assume, many backgrounds and religions as well.

I really enjoyed talking to the people of Virginia  as a volunteer campaign worker living in San Diego CA.   Working the phone bank for the Obama campaign from my home PC. 

My job is to call and remind voters about the upcoming date of the primary and to educate them on where Obama stands on the issues.  I make sure they know where their polling locations are located and thank them for their time. 

I have never been civic minded to the point where I personally will get physically involve in a political campaign,  Hear comes the testimonial.

Seriously, I have never gotten involved in actually calling and campaigning before.  I never knew it could be so enlightening. 

I spoke to people who have different existences and lifestyles in far away places.  I really plan to be active in the political process again in the future. 

 It’s something I recommend everyone should do in their life, if they haven’t already.  Hopefully someone will inspire you as Barack Obama has inspired me to see him become President of the United States of America.
