Gingrich and Republicans, Back Off the Speaker!

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said again today and will continue saying tomorrow that Nancy Polosi should step down.

Please somebody tell Newt Gingrich these facts about his ambitions. Number One, Even if Nancy Polosi steps down from the House Speakership, He can’t get his old job back. By the way didn’t he step down or was he push down? I know it was not pretty.

Tell Newt, that as much as He and his cronies i.e. Michael Steele, Rush Limbaugh, and D.Cheney, would like to dictate what Obama should and should not do, in the case of Cheney. And now every time you turn on T.V. there’s is Newt dictating to Nancy Polosi to step down.

Who is Newt Gingrich? The man less influential than Romney, Giuliani, and McCain otherwise he would have decided to run for the White House instead of backing out at the eleventh hour. However with little to no support you cannot raise the amazing amounts of money required to run a first rate campaign and Newt saw the writing on the wall and sat on the sidelines. He continued his puppetry as a talking head at Fixed News. You know the fair and balanced cable station.lol.

Newt Gingrich realizes I think that he is only making Democrats stand by her side instead of agreeing with him and the dumb republicans that Polosi should step down. Gingrich and his republican cohorts are attempting to pressure a fine women of integrity to abdicate her position by that bunch of opportunist and buffoons who attack her relentlessly. Simply to advance their own agenda. Politics will always be politics and politicians will be politicians. In the end the best man or women wins. In this battle of the Speakers I’ll bet on Nancy, Mr.Speaker

Gingrich will continue to beat the dead horse. The democratic party will continue to believe Nancy Polosi’s statement about what she was told about Torture. Over Newt Gingrich’s big mouth assertions because his words are not proof of truth either. He’s nothing more than a publicity hound.

Gingrich and Cheney have had their day but as they say some people are addicted to power long after they realize that they don’t have any.

Bubbles, Bail Outs, Barack and AIG

President Obama has been in office nearly ten weeks. Around seventy days now. The Financial Bubble bust prior to him taking the helm from the former administration. And continued to deflate well into his young presidency.

I should have mentioned “Balls” too in the title of this article. The President has many balls to juggle which requires his nimbleness, finesse, and a belief in his abilities to not just face the challenges before him but to rectify these conditions and to lead the Nation and I dare say the World back to sounder footing.

While acknowledging that the United States long term success as a nation is dependent on the rest of the G-7 nations having solid financial systems. Therefore in order to guarantee the soundness of these “Major” and “To Big to Fail” financial institutions (Where were the Anti-Trust protections.) must have a regulatory mechanism that is both transparent and strictly monitored and regulated. If this requires Congress granting new authority to the Treasury Department to do the regulating, then I say, give Treasury the power.

President Barack Obama in his ten weeks in office has done more than give parties at the White House and run around the country giving campaign style speeches. I don’t think he has lousy work habits as some of the pundits had the gall to pronounce about our President. President Obama has the world in his hands and is using his hand to wisely fix a broken system. The Nation is facing the greatest financial meltdown since the great depression. He and his team are tackling the problems head on. Time will tell whether their remedies will be curative.

President Obama named the Economy, Health Care, Education, and Energy as his top priorities for the Nations. While managing two Wars. And a growing problem on the Southern Border of the United States with Mexico all are on the President’s plate.

President Obama plan to reduce our National Debt by 1/2 of what it was under George W. Bush by the end of his first four years. The President has plans if nothing else. President Obama has a great team in his administration to assist him in making his Presidency a shinning example of American Leadership around the world.

The AIG bonuses, based on the pros and cons of this matter,I would prefer to err on the side of caution and give the bonuses to the AIG executives to retain their “Talent” to protect the Nations investment of the hundreds of billions the tax payers are on the hook for paying back.

The reality is the same Executives many of whom played a part in the collapse of the financial institution will now receive two or three million each in bonuses to keep them on board.

Like the Old Blues Song says: “Its Cheaper to Keep Her”. Its probably cheaper to fulfill the contractual obligations and keep the talent needed to navigate the complicated financial and regulatory systems. If bonuses will secure our investment grant it to them and let them get to work for the American people. We want our principle back plus interest.

Laura Ingraham’s Vitriol Towards Meghan McCain Unnecessary

I consider myself an Independent with a Democratic leaning, as such, the readers of this article  are entittled to know who and what I represent as the writer of this Dirty Republican Laundry that has permeated in recent news cycles.

At issue for those who may yet be unaware of what the “War of Words” is about is Meghan McCain being the young woman she is has been freely expressing her views and opinions as to the state of the Republican Party on talk shows and throughout the national media.  Meghan McCain is quoted as saying the Republican Party is not doing enough to appeal to younger voters among other things. 

The fact of the matter is that Meghan talked factually about relevant matters within the Republican Party and has a rather unique perspective  on what she thinks the Republican Party could do better. 

Meghan McCain did not deserve to be rewarded with personal attacks from the old heads within the party, From the likes of Laura Ingraham the publicity hound, and M. Malkkin, both rising up like two ancient dinosaurs spewing out their fiery blast of personal attacks rather than addressing the merits of the issues Meghan McCain raised.

 Why the attack?  Could it be that she is Fresh, Young, and Honest.   Plus She appears human where as I cannot say that about her critics based on the level of attacks.

Ms.McCain appears to be a take charge kind of women.  The Old Guard should welcome Meghan McCain’s fresh perspective and ideas.  They should admirer her for even caring.  Obviously there are those who seem to prefer that she did not and just sit on the sidelines and keep her views private.  

That is unlikely to happen so I suspect the Old Guard will just have to get use to the new kid on the block who says to her critics: “You can Hoof and you can Puff, but I’m here to Stay”. 

Meghan McCain comes from a family where public service has been a tradition and I think she will be in the public limelight long after Ingraham, Malkkin, and offensive conservatives like Ann Coulter and Boss Limbaugh are no longer Germaine or relevant.   If, they are today.

I reiterate, voicing her opinion on what she thought the Republican Party must learn (i.e.  how to reach out to younger voters) to become a party of choice again of the American Electorate 

Meghan McCain was Thrashed and Hashed by the “Talking Heads” of conservative radio mainly of the female persuasion which is rather fascinating on its on.   This is why it has been said:  ”One Should not do Their Dirty Laundry in Public”  because everyone will be talking about it.  Including Blogger Keeping It Real.

Oprah Discovers Freedom Is Not Free

News reports of late indicate Oprah’s market shares show signs of slippage.  

Some observers attributed the decline to Oprah’s announcement on The Larry King Show in May of 2007 that she was throwing her  support behind her long time friend, Senator Barrack Obama.  Here are some facts and figures: 

January 2007,  74 percent of Americans reported favorable impressions of Oprah in a Gallop/USA Today poll. 

August 2007 CBS News Poll showed only 61 percent of Americans were favorably disposed by her. 

October 2007 Gallop/USA Today Poll, Showed a higher 66 percent favorably, but still reflected a drop.

Some  segments of Oprah’s viewers have expressed their displeasure over Oprah’s endorsement of Barack Obama.  Another man-v-the first woman.

In Oprah’s case, And from my perspective alone,  I do not believe Race is trumping Gender if you happen to view the situation in such terms.  Nor do I agree that Oprah can only entertain Us,  via Harpo productions, the Big Give or Satellite Radio and  ”O” Magazine but otherwise she should stay silent on political matters.   Stay in the shadows?  Keep her politics private? Or go with the women candidate?  So that she remains popular among them to keep the peace?  

There are numerous articles on the web and in other quarters, that suggest Oprah has become anti-christian, and now embrace some ”New Aged” religious beliefs.   I guess her critics would be happier if she were still a member of Trinity?   Trinity being the Obama’s former church in Chicago where the famous words of Rev. Wright will live on in infamy.  “Naw,Naw,Naw, I will leave it there.

The bottom line here is: ”Oprah is not just a Black Women,”  like she told a crowd in South Carolina, as she campaigned for Barrack Obama, She said:  “I am not Just a Black Woman,  I am a  Free Black Woman.”   Those words carried power and truth.

Telling all women they are also just as free to choose the candidate of their choice.

In our great land, of America.  We are endowed, with certain inalienable rights, which allows freedom of choice in determining our individual choices.

Therefore, I am curious to know who thought they could pressure Oprah to support Hillary Clinton if it was  not Oprah’s own decision?  I know I ask more questions than I may answer but I believe the questions are worth asking. 

Simply because Hillary Clinton happens to be the first viable woman candidate some individuals are pushing back from Oprah and company. Simply because she endorsed for the first time and her endorsement was not for the first lady.

If Maya Angelou being a black women, can support Hillary, not because Maya Angelou is a black woman, but because she is a free black woman.  A free black woman who freely supported  the woman candidate Hillary Clinton.  Who happens to be white. 

Despite the fact that many blacks would have assumed the opposite would be true.  Maya Angelou to have supported Obama and Oprah would have supported  Hillary Clinton satisfying groups like NOW and other women splinter groups.

Therefore, the backlash in terms of Oprah’s Neilsen Ratings with her American audience is symbolic of the fact that Freedom is not free.  We all must pay for all we do and say.  Another writer said it like this: “You may not get all you pay for in This World, but you Must Certainly pay for all you get.”  By  Frederick Douglas.

Make Jamiel’s Law, Law.

A new law being proposed for the city of Los Angeles,  Jamiel’s Law, is being proposed in response to another senseless slaying of a young kid named Jamiel Shaw.   A  High School Student shot and killed on the streets of Los Angeles. He was apparently steps away from his home at about dusk, when the bullets rang out, and claimed the life of this young man. 

Jamiel Shaw’s Mother was in Iraq fighting for the USA while her son died at the hands of Sanctuary City Policies that prohibit Law Enforcement from checking for citizenship. 

Sanctuary Cities across this Nation are faced with the endless  criminal alien violence.  What is more disturbing is the reality that even when Undocumented Aliens are Rounded Up and Deported, with Our Open Border such as it is.  Those same Deportees can, in some cases, reenter the USA’S Open Border  and be back on the block within a week.  So how can you fix that problem?  Until that Gaping Hole is filled.   Everything else is simply an exercise in futility. 

In the words of Martin Luther King Jr:   ”There comes a time when the cup of endurance runs over, and men are no longer willing to be plunged into an abyss of injustice, where they experience the blackness of corroding despair.” 

Let me be clear, The majority of illegal immigrants are honorable men and women.  We are not talking about the illegal population who are not involved in lawlessness. 

Jamiels Law would deny “sanctuary city”     protection to gang members.
Jamiels Law would require city officials to enforce immigration laws
against gang members, without eliminating “Sanctuary City” protection
for any other group of people.

It’s become clear that if the residents of Los Angeles don’t struggle to address the issue of criminal illegal aliens, nobody else will.  Not the politicians, not the Corporations, or City, State and/or Federal Governments. 

Sgt. Anita Shaw returned from Iraq to bury her son and will be off once again to stand up for America and fulfill her commitment to her country.  She said on CNN today that she was leaving for Kuwait.  I think she represents the the Spirit of America.  In the face of great personal lost, She goes off to fulfill her obligation and commitment to America.

The time has now come for America to make a commitment to the citizens not just of Iraq and Afghanistan but  Los Angles, San Diego, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, NYC, Detroit, New Jersey, North and South Carolina and throughout America.

Especially if Americans are leaving these cities to save their remaining children who have yet to be murdered by illegal alien criminal gangs roaming the streets of America.

The first thing to do is to eliminate Sanctuary Cities and anyone standing in the way.  If they are in office, We have to get them out.  Replace them!

A city Councilman Reyes of L.A. Said that to enforce immigration laws in L.A. would have to much of an economic impact.  Tell that to Sgt. Anita Shaw.  The economic consequence that Mr Reyes and the city officials of L.A. should be concerned with are personal lawsuits as the city was negligent in their responsibility to provide for the public safety. 

When the City, State and Federal Governments fail to protect  all citizens from foreign invaders, they should be held financially liable for their dereliction of duty through their advocacy of Sanctuary city policies.

In the mean time we all should work to make Jamiels Law, law.  Under Jamiels Law, When a gang member is pull over or comes into contact with law enforcement and its determined they are undocumented, under Jamiel’s Law they would be fast tracked back to their place of origin.  The people have to rise up and do for themselves what are Cities, States and Federal Governments  appear unwilling or unable to do for us.

We are literally having to fight for the lives of our children who are yet alive, to keep them alive and not have them mistaken by a gang as one of them.  We must work to pass Jamiel’s Law.  We have enough homegrown violent criminals in America, We don’t need those who come here illegally and expand the criminal elements.
