To all those who are elated over the fact that O.J. Simpson will be meeting lady justice, all I can say is you will not be overjoyed for long. After O.J.’s appeal he will have to be set free after consideration of the following: The jury in Las Vegas has spoke Friday night. The jury found O.J. Simpson guilty on all charges that were a total of twelve.
The fact of the matter is five members of the jury were polled and stated on the record that they believed that O.J. Simpson was guilty of the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. The Hangman judge knowing
these facts in her infinite wisdom or her blatant hostility towards O.J. Simpson allowed those same individuals to decide Mr. Simpson’s fate in this sports memorabilia thief case that will now result in a life sentence for Mr. Simpson.
In America we like to say that we have the best Court system in the world. However when it comes to people of color like O.J. Simpson then the blindness of justice is shown to be tinged and tainted by the historical precedents that have always dealt an uneven hand to its darker minorities.
This is not to say that Mr. Simpson is innocent of all the convictions. This is to say that Lady Justice took off her blindfold and set in motion a tainted jury and a judge of biblical dimensions to deliver Mr. Simpson to the equivalent of the Lions Den.
I believe that Justice is blind. And Injustice is no Justice. The Court’s rulings and the Jury’s verdict in Las Vegas Nevada to me is nothing more than a reversal of the verdict on the O.J. Simpson Murder Trial in which he walked away free and clear. now a case involving football sports stuff will result in him serving the rest of his natural life in a rotten jail cell. That just don’t pass the smell test in my nose.
